Leopard VK 16.02

Next time I met Amusing Hobby kit on my way. It was one of my favourite builds and the result is presented below. I used some aftermarket parts - barrels, towing cable, Friulmodel tracks. As you can see it has unique painting scheme - I know it is controversial but the Paper Panzer subjects let me play with colors and shapes with no limits.
It is planned to be published in Super Model and some other modelling magazines.

Panzerkampfwagen VII Löwe from Amusing Hobby

One of the latest models from Amusing Hobby. I added some extra parts to make it more interesting because the kit is quite basic. It will be published in Polish Super Model magazine and  (hope so) in Military Modelcraft International.

The King is Dead - Hungary, Lake Balaton area, 1945

I bought this already built Tamiya model as a "scrap" but it was a pretty good hit. It was stripped of details but covered with sand primer. With add-ons I had in my collection, I managed to fit Eduard metal barrel, metal fenders and mesh from Griffon Model, some details from the Dragon models and Friulmodel metal tracks. In addition, I enriched the set with the antenna from RB Model, Elefant rear lamp handle and weld lines made of thin plastic sticks that were softened with glue, and then formed by the tip of a knife.
The article about this kit was published in Polish Super Model magazine (5(42)2012). Here are some shots:

Furious Pig - StuH III Ausf.G

It was bought from a friend of mine. He sold it as an almost built but unpainted kit. The price was quite nice and I had no doubts.

The kit (Dragon) was upgraded with RB Model metal gun barrel (35B43), antenna mounts (35A14) and antenna rods (35A02). For concrete structure Green Stuff was used. The side skirts were prepared from 0.75 mm sheet of plastic and top pieces were adapted from Panther PE set produced by Aber (35A107). The gun mantle cover was sculpted from Milliput and the rear transport barrier was made from the same plastic as armor panels. So here she is:

In the end I would like to thank Sebastian Woś for the kit and Krzysztof Wiśniewski for help with the research.

The article was published in Military Modelcraft October 2012:

EBR-10 Ugly Duckling in MIM

Some time ago I built the kit of French EBR. The vehicle is so ugly but there is something catchy at the same time. I think the editors thought the same and now you can read the Ugly Duskling article in Military Illustrated Modeller (issue 20)! Enjoy!
