Citroën 11cv

This car goes with the Feldmarschall you can see in previous post. I used Tamiya's kit and only the decals and driver's windshield was changed. She was painted in shiny finish to make the effect of civilian car confiscated by the German invaders.

Studebaker US6 + Fuel Trailer Type A-3

I would like to describe both kits so the first is Studebaker. It's the ICM kit with new resin wheels from TWS, RB Models stowage set (I used some elements only, because unfortunately a lot of them should go straight into the trash bin), the tarpaulin was prepared by myself,  Archer interior and medical decals and Echelon mirrors. Inside the cabin are two figures from Verinden (as usual they were too big so the knife, sandpaper and Milliput were necessary). I needed to change the decals  - those from the kit were so poor that they were torn after 1 minute in the water - I used Dragon's stars and numbers.
The kit was painted with Vallejo and weathered with MIG chemicals.

Before I started the building process of the trailer I was looking for some nice pics of this kit and the real vehicle. So it wasn't the favourite photographers' subject... I didn't find anything special.
The CMK kit is very good - the cast is clean and the resin is air bubbles free. There were no problems with preparations. I added the pipe only - this is a part of electical cable wrapped by the thin copper wire. Oh, I forgot about handles - they come from Tamiya's Tiger!
The trailer was painted and weathered in the same way as Studebaker. The decals come from different sets.

TALON EOD Tactical Robot

The kit is a unique so first I would like to present some basic information about this vehicle.

So, the Foster-Miller TALON robot is a small, tracked robot designed for reconnaissance and combat missions. It can be used on different surfaces - sand, water, snow and even stairs are not a problem. The robot is controlled through radio or Fiber-optic link from Operator Control Unit. US Army uses it for explosive ordnance disposal and disarming improvised explosive devices. The robot costs approximately $60,000 in its standard form.

The Talon has been deployed in military service since 2000 - in Bosnia, in Ground Zero after the September 11th attacks, in the war against the Taliban in Afghanistan and in Iraq, where its standard role has been performing EOD and IED destruction missions. According to Foster-Miller, the robot has performed around 20,000 EOD missions in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

This is the smallest kit I ever built. Not to fast but still forward and after 3 hours the kit was ready. It is so small that I remember all tools used :-)
Here is the list: AFV Club AC35010 set,Vallejo black primer, MC 950, 951, 886, 864, 949 and MIG's Gulf War Sand and Europe Dust.

And here is the picture I like best (found in the Net):

11th November - Polish National Independence Day

It is the most important public holiday in Poland celebrated every year on 11 November to commemorate the anniversary of Poland's assumption of independent statehood in 1918 after 123 years of partition by Russia, Prussia and Austria.

Józef Klemens Piłsudski, (5 December 1867 – 12 May 1935) was a Polish statesman—Chief of State (1918–22), "First Marshal" (from 1920), and authoritarian leader (1926–35) of the Second Polish Republic. From mid-World War I he had a major influence in Poland's politics, and was an important figure on the European political scene. He is considered largely responsible for Poland's regaining its independence in 1918, after 123 years of partitions.

Chevy 30 cwt lorry - rebuilt

As I wrote couple days ago I started (and I've just finished) rebuilding this old kit. The stages of the process are below.

The beginning...

This is old Tamiya's kit but I don't know its number - just the same base as Chevrolet LRDG but with complete cabin. The old rubber tires were totally damaged, so I changed them into Armo resin parts. Some of the parts were thrown away and replaced by elements from my spare box or scratched. I made new windscreens, wipers and the other pieces. Here you can see most of them.

The stowage before...

and after loading...

The painting...

and adding some details...

And now the finish - she is ready:-)
