The King is Dead - Hungary, Lake Balaton area, 1945


I bought this already built Tamiya model as a "scrap" but it was a pretty good hit. It was stripped of details but covered with sand primer. With add-ons I had in my collection, I managed to fit Eduard metal barrel, metal fenders and mesh from Griffon Model, some details from the Dragon models and Friulmodel metal tracks. In addition, I enriched the set with the antenna from RB Model, Elefant rear lamp handle and weld lines made of thin plastic sticks that were softened with glue, and then formed by the tip of a knife.  
The article about this kit was published in Polish Super Model magazine (5(42)2012). Here are some shots:
